Roland Boss

With the help of The DJ School Roland has become a passionate and talented house DJ with proven DJing skills and an excellent understanding of all the technical elements of DJing.

Roland immigrated to England from Latvia with a basic knowledge of DJing but with a huge desire to suceed in the DJing industry. He joined up to The DJ School on the intermediate DJ course and flew through his exams with flying colours and some of the highest grades of 2009.

His tutor at The DJ School spotted this talent and knew he would do The DJ School proud if he was placed on some high-profile gigs. This is the reason Roland was chosen to DJ at some of 2009's best and biggest events. The first of which was performing in the silent disco arena at Europe's largest DJing exhibition alongside Jaguar Skills and Kutski from BBC Radio 1 and the DMC World Champions. He was also given the opportunity to DJ at the URBIS in Manchester and finally was made a resident DJ at the Midlands' biggest dance event, Juicy.

Roland is now currently working on the DJing scene up and down the country and is currently producing his own music.

Cameron Palmer

Cameron came to The DJ School because he liked to DJ in his spare time as a hobby. Because he lived in Wardhouse, Aberdeenshire he had little access to anywhere he could learn to DJ. He travelled down to The DJ School and completed an intensive course in just one week. The DJ School helped him sort out discounted accomodation and made his stay very enjoyable.

He had never worked professionally as a DJ but he could mix quite well. The DJ School advised him to attend the intermediate course during his week as he already knew his basic stuff. During the course Cameron exelled on his mixing but he had a few bad habits. He worked alongside his tutor to get rid of these bad habits and fine tune his skill up to a professional DJ level. Cameron achieved a 'credit' qualification at the end of his course.

The DJ School have now helped Cameron get a permanent residency near to where he lives in Scotland.

Peter Birch

Peter travelled up from London to attend The DJ School's intermediate course.

He worked full time in the day between 9am - 5pm as a Trainee Finance Manager, this is not what Peter wanted to do in his life. He was just doing it for the money. Peter's true passion was music, especially the DJing side of things. This passion came about from going to all of the top clubs in London and this is where he realised just exactly what he wanted to do.

Peter decided to come to The DJ School as all of the DJ learning providers in and around his local area all teach in groups. He wanted one-to-one lessons so he could go at his own pace and get the full attention of the tutor with any parts of the course he may have struggled on.

At first Peter found all of the new information quite daunting, but eventually after working closely with his tutor he started to understand all of the advanced techniques to DJing.

Peter now DJ's on a local radio station playing the music that he loves.
